What Teal does well
- A mature job tracker and a well-loved Chrome extension: 4.9 from 3.2K ratings, 200,000 users (Chrome Web Store).
- Resume templates and design, plus an interview coach and offer and negotiation tools added with its January 2025 funding (Reworked).
- A strong free tier and a large library of career content.
- In December 2025 it bought Ramped, whose Autopilot submits applications, to bring that into Teal (Preqin). Whether Teal offers auto-apply today isn’t clear from what it publishes.
Where Winsly is different
- A record you keep as you go. A running log of wins you add to every week, not bullets you assemble when a search starts.
- The bar in your manager’s words. A bar for your next level and a review case. Teal is built for the search, not the promotion.
- Every line shows its source. Reviewers of several resume tools report generic or invented AI text. Winsly checks every claim against a logged win before you see it.
- Roles from companies you choose, scored daily, with must-haves and labels like “Warm intro first”.
Who should choose which
- Teal for a broad, high-volume search where a free tracker matters most.
- Winsly for building your case while you’re employed, or a targeted search where every claim holds up.
- Both: track a wide search in Teal’s free tier, and use Winsly for your wins and your priority applications.
