Winsly vs BragBook: imported wins, or wins tied to your bar
Choose BragBook if you work in tech and want wins imported from GitHub, Jira or Linear, with self-review and 1:1 drafts, for $8.99 a month. Choose Winsly if you want your wins tied to the bar your manager set, a review case where every line shows its source, and the same record carried into a job search.

What BragBook does well
- It pulls work in for you. On Premium, pull requests and tickets from GitHub, Jira, Linear, Asana and Dovetail become entries without retyping. Winsly has no imports from work tools.
- It costs less. Premium is $8.99 a month (bragbook.io), against $20 for Winsly Pro, and the free plan already drafts a self-review from up to 25 entries. On Winsly, self-review drafts start on Pro.
- One log, many outputs: self-review answers, 1:1 updates, resume bullets, LinkedIn posts and STAR stories.
- Useful free guides on brag documents, promotion cases and self-reviews, and a self-review generator you can try without signing up.
Where Winsly is different
- The bar in your manager’s words. BragBook has no level or bar to work toward. Winsly turns what your manager said the next level takes into a clear bar, maps each win to it, and shows what’s still missing.
- Every line shows its source. Each line of your review case, self-review and applications points to the win it came from, and is checked before you see it.
- Wins a colleague stands behind. Ask someone who saw the work to verify a win by email. Ask for references from the same record.
- A CFO’s playbook, run on your record. On the Advisor plan, your advisor says whether this is the cycle to ask for the level or for the work that closes the gap, and you can practice the conversation first.
- One record, every move. When the next level is somewhere else, the same wins find roles and write applications.
- Any field. BragBook is built around tech work. Winsly logs any kind of work.
Who should choose which
- BragBook if you work in tech and want wins pulled in from GitHub, Jira or Linear, with self-review drafts, for $8.99 a month.
- Winsly if you want your wins to prove a specific bar, a case where every line shows its source, and a record that carries into a job search.
- Both if you like the imports: let BragBook collect the tickets, and bring the wins that matter into Winsly’s case.
