Privacy and trust

Every claim is cited, your record stays private by default, and Winsly never sends anything you haven’t seen and sent yourself.

Your career record is personal. Winsly is built around a few promises that hold everywhere in the product.

You always hit send

Winsly never sends anything you haven’t seen and sent yourself. It drafts, and never submits an application or messages anyone on its own. When you ask someone to verify a win or write a reference, you see the exact email first, and Winsly sends it only when you press Send. Every application, every message and every change to your profile waits for you.

Every claim is cited

Applications, your resume and your review case only say what a win in your record supports. Winsly checks for invented numbers and uncited claims before you ever see a draft.

Private by default

  • Your employer stays private if you want. One switch keeps your current employer out of your search and out of anything you share.
  • Customer names stay out. Names you mark private never appear in anything that leaves Winsly.
  • Your account is yours, not your employer’s. Nothing you log or search is shared with your company.
  • No ad tracking. Winsly’s only cookies keep you signed in and remember which site first sent you, so it knows where people find it. Nothing from another company follows you here.
  • People you ask are treated well too. A request to someone never mentions a job search, and every one carries “Don’t email me again”. Winsly keeps their address only until the link expires.

Nothing changes without you

Winsly proposes changes to your profile for you to accept. The exceptions are a win you write yourself, or ask Claude or ChatGPT to log for you, which saves straight to your log for you to check, and the cards you choose to save from a meeting.

Your files

Bring your career evidence, not your employer’s confidential documents. Winsly’s AI sees only the name of a proof file attached to a win, never its contents, unless you tap Draft a win from this on an image: then it reads that image once, to write a draft for you to check. Images are resized and their location data removed before they leave your device. Resumes, LinkedIn exports and reviews are read to build your profile, and you can remove any file at any time. A meeting you bring in is read once: Winsly keeps the cards you save, each with the line it came from, and never the transcript. A read you don’t save is deleted after 14 days.

Delete it all, any time

Settings → Account → Delete account removes everything you’ve added and every file. The Privacy policy has the details: what Winsly keeps, why, who helps run it, and how you take your data with you.
